Terms of Service
These cover using this website and hiring us. Your written estimate and invoice govern the actual job — if anything here conflicts with those, those win.
Effective July 20, 2026.
Who you're dealing with
Elevation Exterior Cleaning is a division of Elevation Home Co., the operating brand of Elevation Visuals LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, located at 5244 Cottondale St SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. "We" and "us" mean that company. "You" means the person or business requesting or receiving service.
Using this website
The content here — text, photos, and design — belongs to us. You're welcome to read it, print it, and share links to it. Don't copy it wholesale onto another site or use our name and photos to represent your own work. Don't attempt to break, scrape at scale, or interfere with the site.
Quotes and estimates
- Quotes are free and non-binding until accepted. A photo quote is our best good-faith estimate from what we can see in the picture.
- Quotes are good for 30 days unless the quote itself says otherwise.
- Conditions we couldn't see can change the price. If we arrive and the actual square footage, height, access, or level of buildup is materially different from what was described or pictured, we will tell you the revised number before starting. You are free to decline at that point and owe us nothing.
Scheduling, weather, and cancellation
- Exterior cleaning is weather-dependent. We may reschedule for rain, wind, or freezing temperatures, and we'll contact you when we do.
- You can reschedule or cancel at no charge with reasonable notice — a call or text the day before is plenty.
- If we arrive as scheduled and can't perform the work because of something on your end (no water access, locked gate, pets loose, vehicles not moved), we may charge a trip fee. We'll tell you the amount before it applies.
What we need from you
Before we arrive, please:
- Provide access to a working outdoor water spigot and, where needed, an outlet.
- Close and latch all windows and doors.
- Move vehicles, grills, patio furniture, and anything else you don't want overspray on.
- Secure pets indoors.
- Tell us about anything we should know — loose siding, failed seals, prior damage, a well system, delicate plantings, or anything unusual about the property.
Results and pre-existing conditions
We use professional low-pressure soft-wash methods and appropriate cleaning solutions for each surface. We will clean what can be cleaned. We can't promise a specific outcome on every surface, because some things aren't dirt:
- Permanent staining, oxidation, etching, rust bleed, and mineral deposits may not fully come out.
- Aged, chalking, or previously damaged paint, sealant, and caulk may fail during any wash.
- Loose siding, damaged shingles, failed window seals, rotted wood, and existing leaks can be revealed or worsened by water — including by rain.
We are not responsible for damage arising from pre-existing conditions or defects, or from conditions you knew about and didn't disclose. We are responsible for damage we actually cause through our own negligence. If you think we damaged something, tell us within 7 days of the job so we can come look at it — that's the fastest way to get it made right, and it's a lot easier to resolve while the evidence is fresh.
Payment
- Payment is due on completion unless your estimate says otherwise.
- We accept the methods listed on your invoice.
- Past-due balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate allowed by Michigan law, and you may be responsible for reasonable collection costs.
Insurance
We carry liability insurance. Ask and we'll send you a certificate — for a commercial or property-management job, we'll usually send it before you have to ask.
Photos of completed work
We photograph our work and use those photos in marketing — our website, Google, and social media. The photos show the property only; we don't publish your name, street address, or house number, and we don't tag your location. Tell us and we won't photograph your home. Ask us to take something down and we will. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Michigan law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost income, loss of use, and the like. Nothing in this section limits liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or anything else that can't be limited by law. This does not affect any rights you have under Michigan consumer protection law.
Resolving problems
Call us first. Nearly everything gets sorted out with a phone call and a return visit, and we'd much rather fix a job than argue about it. If something can't be worked out, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Kent County, Michigan.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do. The version in effect on the date of your estimate is the one that applies to your job.
